I enjoy equally the challenges of assessing experienced workers who have the skills but not the qualifications, and new entrants to the forestry industry. Low literacy levels are accomodated by the training and assessment material. I find it rewarding to watch a client's self esteem rise as they recieve recognition for their achievements.

I am convinced that forestry gangs benefit from having structured, progressive training that builds productivity, while reducing accidents, reworks and staff turnover.
