Trees are my passion. I hold a Diploma of Arboriculture from Lincoln and am a qualified FITEC Foresty Assessor. I undertake tree work of all sorts as a highly experienced arborist and specialise in high trees.
I can advise on native forest establishment and care, also take hikers on guided trail walks, sharing my knowledge of the native forests in Northland.

I live between the Herekino and Whangape harbours in the Far North where my partner and I manage a 35 hectare block of reforested land.
I have worked in forestry related fields since 1980, mainly in the far North but my forestry assessor and aboricultural work has taken me all over the North Island.
As well as my work with trees I am also involved with Far North Whale Rescue and help run Whale Rescue Training Courses in association with DOC Northland.
You can contact me if you are interested in training to help save stranded whales too!
